Expecto Patronum
About my project
A representation of our creative ideas as our world's Patronus; pollution will leave the earth essentially soulless, victim of the Dementor's kiss of greed, wastefulness, and apathy.
Here's What I'm Thinking...
Our own ingenuity is what will protect us from having the life sucked out of our planet. It can act as our Patronus, drawing on our positive outlook on the future, a power much stronger than the powers of greed responsible for our current crisis.

I love your piece. It is so much more intricate and requires more talent than all of the others that are currently leading. I wish you luck.

Thank you so much!
When I was coming up with some ideas for the contest my first thought was of a Dementor, and how its billowing robes reminded me of black smoke. The same way Dementors suck the happiness and hope out of everyone around, pollution and greed are sucking away the hope of a clean and beautiful environment. Since a Patronus, also used here as a symbol for the Harry Potter Alliance, is the embodiment of someone's happiest thought, used to protect themselves from the Dementor. The thought of our own ability to overcome any odds through our ingenuity and creativity is what can save us.
